Looking in Santiago

I posted earlier regarding my trip to the DR in November to Santiago for 4 days and Santo Domingo for 6 days. Sascha helped me with a great hotel in Santo Domingo (Coco Boutique Hotel), great looking place and another friend recommended as well. I am not having great success in finding a place in Santiago for those 4 nights, the only recommendation I got was Hotel and Casino Mantu. After doing some research I am not 100% sure of this place. Any all suggestions will be appreciated, I am willing to go up to $100usd per night .

$100 per night...gibve the Gran Almirante a call....I bet it is close to that....

plus near the airport is the Marriot....it might be close to that number as well..maybe a little more.....dont know whay..it is near nothing, but the airport!

Lots of people have recomended the Colonial before and it is much cheaper than your limit.

there is also a hotel called the Paladium...or something close to that, over near PUCMMA University..

I actually went in once to look at the rooms.

i thought the manager said they went for from 3000 pesos to about 4200 pesos.

but others who have stayed there said the rooms can be had for less than that...

if you want a nice place to stay go to hotel Platinium, it wont be more than $100 its clean, safe and have a restaurant plus internet service is free in your room...

You can go to Hotel Aloha sol... its situated in the main street of Santiago just close to everything...

try those two and i bet you will like it
