I am a US citizen, and i will be in haiti visiting friends, but i would like to go to DR too. how do i get from Cabaret, Haiti to the nearest resort point in DR and then how would i get to the airport from the resort? basically, i'm staying from 7/10 - 7/13 in haiti, i want to leave haiti to arrive in DR on the 13th and then stay in DR until the 17th. is this even possible? any suggestions would be extremely helpful and appreciated. Thank you for reading.

You can fly from Port Au Prince to Puerto Plata, if you can afford it. Or else by bus (Caribe Tours) although I'm afraid this would take the whole day, but I guess it might be cheaper.
