best beach in DR?

In your opinion,which is the best dominican beach and why?


My favorite right now is bayahibe,located just east of Casa de Campo.i love it because the beach is pure sand when you go in the water,the water is so clear and its beautiful

Bayahibe is my favorite beach as well. I have only been to the beaches of Boca Chica, Cabarete, Juan Dolio, Sosua, Cabarete, Juan Dolio, Las Galeras, and Las Terrenas, but I prefer Bayahibe.

Las Galeras may be considered a bit prettier than Bayahibe and in some respects it is; however, it is a pain in the ass to get to Las Galeras!

Hi,
it´s the question what kind of beach you prefer. I love long and lonely beaches where you can walk along for hours, no hotels around.
So for me the best beaches are the Playa Cozon, Playa Rincon and Playa Limon on Samana and the Playa Tortuga near Miches.
The smaller lonely beaches I like are Playa Moron, La Cana, Playa Madame, Playa Colorado and Playa Fronton (all Samana).
Punta Cana has a beautiful beach, too, but for me it´s too crowded, especially during the main season.
Bayahibe is really nice, but if you´re leaving the hotel area to walk inside the National park it becomes very stony.

In my opinion the best beach is Daytona Beach. and i never went to bayahibe so i don't know anything about that. there are a number of beaches which are really famous. You can enjoy there a lot.

Maui Vacation Beaches
Daytona Beach
Laguna Beach
Goat Rock beach
Grayton Beach State Park
Vanderbilt Beach

For me it is the beaches on the north coast more sandy and less rocks.

Sosua Beach, if you want to be around tourists and expats and lots of Dominicans from Cibao on weekends. I love Sosua beach.

Caleton beach just after Rio San Juan. This beach is great if you want to have a nice quiet day on the beach with that special someone.

Playa Grande is almost the same as Caleton but has more people and more vendors.
