Post Cruising Guide

Maybe this site is not about boating and cruising. Thou I think this link might interest most of you how reeds this.

It is a Cruising Guide, the first and only of the DR.

It talks about a lot of nice places to go sailing but it gives you a very nice and new picture of what the DR is, the second biggest island of the Caribbean...!

Any how if your planning on going sailing, cruising ore just have interest in the country, here comes the link to the Guide;

Default Excellent work

That is very well done. Although I don't have a boat, it makes me want to find someone that does.

You can psychologically lessen the pain of boat ownership by thinking in terms of "units". Units could equal 1k US. And yes, I speak from extensive experience.

If you can't afford your own Boat , Charter!

I have a 12 year Yachting resume that includes the who's who list!

All, and I repeat all partnerships involved in a corporate and or parternship will destroy the relationship of all parties involved.

Throw in the trophy wives and it's a free for all in divorce court!

Just my experience and what an experience it was.

Dinghy's excluded though!

Forget the aluminum boats you are used to from a U.S. company.

Your best bet is to buy a fiberglass boat as that's what the locals use.

They have molds, so all you have to do is start talking to the locals that offer rentals and work your way up the ladder until you meet the Captain!

If you have an aluminum boat it will be turned into beer cans!

Not that's a bad thing!
