Default Can I bring mangos with me? To Canada...

I'm going back home to Quebec for a 2-week visit and I was wondering if I can bring back some mangos with me?

It seems I'm allowed to travel with fruits per security CATSA but I know that there is always that question in the form for customs that asks if you are carrying fruits? I just hope they don't get confiscated...

Default No Meat

Mangos very often have worms in them.
And meat is not to be brought into Canada, as far as I know.

I think one can bring meat back to Canada as long as it is canned or if one has the proper papers and agrees to be responsible for it for 3 years.

Lol. Go Canada Go!

On a side note, a friend's mother hauled a suitcase full of pasteles en hoja to NY last Christmas. The beagle patrol nailed her and the police detained her for 3 hours. Had to have been 3 days of work down the tubes

Amazing how the brain works.

I disclaimed the comment with a "sidebar". Hence injecting an amusing anecdote to go with the mango question. I think the OP question has expired if you look at the date!!
