Hello i am just back from riu bachata for the second time.And i had a great time.But i recommend riu merengue if you really want fun, the have the best animationteam and work really hard.You also must go out the resort and i have also going to la baricca a few times and really you must do it.Also go to playa dorada there is a disco called crazy moon and there you have lot of fun.

La Barrica (sp?) is a dominican disco in POP. They play merengue and bachata mainly, it is very very dark and very very loud. Great place to go though, you will see some fabulous dancing.

I wouldn't bother with Crazy Moon - it is a disco in one of the hotels at Playa Dorada (Paradise Hotel, I think), they play a mix of music, but all the sankis go there to pick up the young girls whose moms won't them go outside the resort gates They think they'll be safe in Crazy Moon . . .
