Traveller - Have booked Cabarete Beach Resort for 2 wks Jan l2-26 and also emailed Starz for info re the confusion re Estrela del Mar (which I have been advised will now be called Azzurro Club Estella) Starz web site for Cabarete Beach Resort is under construction) If I get any feed back will post
Still lots of banging, sawing, digging, concreting and building going on behind the tin screens!!!
Sounding more and more like I heard - a resort club for the 19 to 49 year olds!!!!!

We have just returned from Cabarete. We stayed and Villa Tiana, which is right next door to Estrella del Mar. It certainly did not look finished. Lots of construction, a tin fence guarding the ocean. Hopefully January is still a few weeks away, and things will improve. Good Luck
