I will be traveling with a buddy to Santo Domingo next week for about 4-5 days, stayin at the Hilton Hamaca outside of SD...This is my first trip there and I am trying to keep an eye on the weather because of the recent tropical weather problems....Can anyone tell me if Santo Domingo has been affected..And any other nice to know info would be greatly appreciated..Thanx...Dennis

Santo Domingo wasn't directly affected other than a bit of flooding from the amount of rain received. Things are back to normal today.

Enjoy your stay.

FYI - the Hamaca is in Boca Chica and my contacts there haven't said much about post weather problems. Hamaca is a pretty huge concrete place with its own power so I bet you are fine.
