The Hotel Garant in Boca Chica is a great hotel. The owner and staff are so welcoming. The newly refurbished rooms and pool are great. Only a few blocks from the beach. Great American Breakfast. Very relaxing hotel

It is a trifle costly vs. other Boca Chica hotels if you want air conditioning especially but it is clean as a whistle and has good breakfast - that's all the food they serve. Nice pool too and they speak English and French - the owner is from Quebec. A good third choice if Costalunga and El Candi are full up.

They also do not accept credit cards for the bill.

Candil is on Diciembre and Costalunga is around the corner, or better yet, go to www.bocachicabeach.net for a map.

Given the tiny size of BC you won't find them hard to locate. Up from the beach, kitty-corner from each other behind the vatican building under construction.

stayed there a few times . i like it a lot also staying there in feb for 10 days , cant wait. also stayed at costalunga , it was also good .
