Care to know why SOME do it?. Because SOME think that they can buy love and affection. They think that just because they have money and they are in a poor country, that they can get whomever they want. Why do you think you see SOME of those old fools with "youngies" old enough to be their grandaughters?.
Why they did not "scored" with you?. Because you are also a foreigners and MOST of them CAN NOT "score" with someone that is a foreigner like them. That's why they rather go with the easy target: The poor dominicans!.
You saw them for what they are: OLD FOOLS. Take it as what they are: A JOKE!.
Ps: It's not only a foreigner "thing". Rich dominican do the same

I think the word here that was used was "flirt". Maybe these guys were acting like guys always used to act but now can not do that in their own countries for fear of being slapped with sexual harassment.
Enjoy the flirting and as long as no one asked for sex it's only flirting for God sakes.

What do you think comes after the flirting?. Have you noticed that when people are flirting, they rarely flirt with someone that they DON"T like?.
I was a big flirt in my haydays but I would only flirt with girls that I liked. ONLY!. If something came out of it, I was not about to say "NO, I was only flirting, go away". Give me a break!!.

You mean men that flirt want something? I always took it as just having a fun conversation. I worked in an office full of Italians. Never took them seriously. I need directness or it goes over my head anyways.  |

Yes. Why flirt in the first place then?. Would you flirt with someone that you are not attracted to?. Maybe you do but I didn't/don't.

I am alone at a bar. You are alone at a bar. I like you so I flirt with you. You flirt back. We end up having great chemistry and the converstaion went smoothly. What, at the end of the day, am I supposed to say "have a good night, nice flirting with you, let me go flirt with someone else"?. Absolutely NOT!. I will ask for your phone number so we can keep in touch. If we like ech other enough and after a few get-togethers, what do you think it will happen?. And guess what, it started with flirting!.
But, I must say, we are not the same!.
