My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights while we were dating...it's beautiful!!! The best part is if you belong to the Wyndham by Request Club, they upgrade your room for free...we got a nice little bungalow right on the beach, with a kitchenette, it was awesome!!! And since we went during a very quiet time of the year, there was NO ONE else around...It was a great 'pre-honeymoom'!!!!!

Food was good, nothing fancy but tasty and very nicely presented...Check this out:

Viva Wyndham Samana

The drive is a little hectic...you have to take it all in stride...it's just part of the fun of the whole vacation...

You'll love it!!!!

Thank you so much!!! Sounds perfect. I want to go for sure.

Do you know how long the trip is in Caribe tours?

I think Caribe tours will only take you as far as Sánchez...then you have to take a taxi or some other form of transport to Bahia de Cosón...which is where the hotel is actually located...it's a little complicated like I said...

Where will you be arriving at? Puerto Plata? Santiago? The last one would be close I think...but the DR1ers that live there might be able to help out more...

Have fun!!!!
