Default Zeus trip to Los Haitises National Park

I want to start off by giving thanks to God for making this trip possible. Next I want to thank Mr. Hb for his orientations and wisdom. And now the trip:
My son, his cousin and I headed to Caribe Tours in Santiago hoping to go to Sanchez on our way to Los Haitises. When I went to purchase our tickets to Sanchez, the lady at the tickets window told me that Caribe Tours did not offer direct service from Santiago to Sanchez. She told me that I must get to San Francisco de Macoris and then board a bus to Sanchez. We did just that. Got on a 'Voladora' and headed to SFM. Then from there got on a bus to Sanchez. We finally arrived in Sanchez. We found lodge at a hotel on Santome Street. Nice, clean and cheap. An hour later we went to La Fuente for a nice and refreshing swimg. Had a couple of cold Presidente. At night we went to a place called 'bebetoon'. Nothing fancy, one can enjoy a good sandwich and wash it down with, what else, but a cold presidente. Next day was the big one. We went to la Playita and talked to one of the boatsman.
His name is 'Guri'. We agreed on how much would it cost to go to Los Haitises.
Now we're on a boat heading to the park. On the way to the park, Guri would call on his friends, all fishermen and asked them to give us some of their catch. They gave us blue crabs and shrimps. When we made it to shore, some of the folks there asked us if we wanted to have the crabs and shrimps boiled. Of course we said yes. I took a dive on a river that comes out of a cave. The water was nice and clean, just beautiful. Finally it was time to get back to dry land. On the way back, the waters get very choppy. At one time I said to Guri are we in any danger, he just said no but hold on very tight.
We made it to shore just fine. What a beautiful adventure this was. I'm looking forward to do it again. From my personal opinion, if you get a change to go to Los Haitises, don't hesitate and " Just do it".

Gracias, HB..

Zeus (primus inter pares)
