Where is Pregantulo (Pregatunlo)?
I have looked at several dominican republic maps. I cannot find a town called Pregatunlo or it may be spelled Pregantulo.
Thanks for the information

Sounds like Villarpando, on the road to San Juan de la Maguana.

there is no place called Preguntalo...
Actually, you are the victim of a misunderstanding, that stems from a deeply-rooted Dominican custom. When asked a question, a Dominican will never say no. Dominicans tend to have a set of expressions and phrases to avoid the negative. That is the reason Dominicans seem to master everything, like when you ask a stranger if he is an electrician, or a mechanic, or even a nuclear physicists. That is why a Dominican seems to always send you on a wild goose chase when you ask for direction. A Dominican would rather hide his ignorance than say 'I don't know'. So, I can see you on the road, asking for directions to a particular town, and a Dominican, not knowing what you are saying, will ask back: "Pregúntalo", which is a very elegant way to throw the question back at you, and translates to something like 'you ask?' or 'you asking me?'

Mr. Whachusay
I'm sure you've heard the one about the Cibaeño's first time in New York. He did not know one word of English and he kept asking people who did the big stores, buildings, and even monuments belonged to. The only answer he got was 'whatyousay'. At the end of the day, he saw a funeral procession, and invariably asked a bystander, 'Quien se murió? (who died?). The bystander answered 'whatyousay'. Then the Cibaeño exclaimed: 'pobrecito el señor Whatyousay, tan rico y ahora tan muertico' (poor, poor Mr Whatyousay, so rich, and now so dead)*.
*I know, I'm a terrible story teller
