Default Casa Marina Beach & Reef Resort
Has anyone been to the Casa Marina Beach and Reef Resort recently?? I would like a recent report if anyone has just returned. We are heading there next week and I've read mixed reviews.

It is not a 5 star resort, but seems to give you your money's worth.
If you need to read reviews, you could try Debbies board, as they deal almost exclusively with all inclusive resorts.

Casa Marina Beach and Reef resorts are solid 3* - 3.5* properties with excellent reputations and a solid returning clientele. One of it's greatest strengths is that it is inside the Town of Sosua so it offers a resort experience combined with a Dominican town experience (although it is arguable that there is little Dominican about El Batey Sosua, relative to some other towns and cities). Sosua is a relatively safe and definitely fun town which contributes favourably to most vacation experiences.

I was wondering how you found the resort? I posted a question about the shows and the enterntainers and there were a couple of replies.

I actually love the resort. Hope you had a good time

We really liked the resort overall. This was our first trip and we would defiinitely consider staying there again.
I was impressed with the shows but, we have never seen them before.
