Whats going DR1?

Here are pictures from my first trip to Dominican Republic a few weeks ago. I went to Santo Domingo, Bonao, Himayaco, Jarabacoa, La Vega, Puerto Plata, Luperon, Lagunas Saladas and a few more other places. Here are the pictures:

Great Photos! I especially lilked the 'slice of life' images that show the people doing everyday chores with DR life in the background.

Very good!

We have a few really good photographers on DR1.

It would be really nice if we could showcase some of the work on DR1.
Yes, we have the media gallery, but I'm thinking something more prominent and something exclusive for great photos and photographers.

Grammar Police at work: Please change "Santo Sero" To Santo Cerro
Santo Cerro Refers to the hilltop, not some personage.

Great photos, and when PGerace tells you they are great, you can believe it!!!!!

thanks guys for the postive compliments, they mean alot that you took time to view my work. i will try and post some more from my trip as soon as i get the chance.

and hillbilly, thanks for correcting me, i had a feeling that something didn't add up when i typed Santo Cerro. ill get to fixing it! thanks

Wow. Your photos are gorgeous. I agree with drloca -- you really have captured the beauty of this country and its people. I can't even pick a favourite; they're all so beautiful!!
