that must be an optical illusion....it was solid bumper to bumper in caberette and sosua . The roads in between we busy but decent except for some place between sosua and Puerto platta were they had a buffet for locals going on....and a cop in the road....that area is the crest of a hill right before or after playa dorado...not sure which.....anyway..it was busy I thought.

I'm guessing it stands for The Mile High Club.

ok I was on the wrong wave length. But Ill tell you its all I can do just getting into the back seat of that thing. Ill run that option past her... I was offered the front seat with the pilot, but wanted to be next to my gf . The pilot took a honey along in the front seat. The front window is huge and you can see twice as much from there. Bt my girl was very very nervous, and I wasnt leaving her alone..maybe next time Ill sit up front. the scary part about the helicopter is that if you do crash you know you are a gonner , because you are packed in so tight, you know there is no way of getting out if the metal gets all twisted .

when he made a few hard turns where we banked the helicopter and dropped down!!!!!!!!!!! she almost blew the pilots eardrums out when she screamed.......I could have done the trip without seeing caberette in about a 15 minute ride and saved about $40 each... I had no idea he could get to sosua so fast.

I asked about going to Monte Christi via helicopter from there, and they say it would be a 2 hour flight.( there and back) also they go inland if you want, but he wouldnt go to Pico Duarte..because of the constant weather changes.

I took about 50 pictures on that flight. maybe ill post some more this week.

if you know of a resort youd like a photo of I probably took one of it!

she is more than a date!!!!!!! in the past I was concerned with having a good time myself..with her its another ballgame.

the dr is a different place now for me....the draw of the babes and the nightlife isnt there anymore!....

Marco I have many more photos of sosua, if you are interested. PM your email and ill send them to you. I a bunch of phots of the store NEXT to yours thinking that was the place...because the tree blocked my view on most of the passes around!! but the wider angles shots ahve the whole block.

Bob why don't you upload them in the media gallery so we can all see the pictures of Sosua.

konica-minolta Z3...........But i just use auto...I hate reading the instructions! I bought it because it had the most optical zoom that still had at least 4 megapixtels. But it still was less than $350. of course now 2 years , you can get 6 megapixtels with the 12X optical zoom ( plus the 4X digital multiplier for a total of 48X zoom).
