You can see the roofs of the bungalows of the waterfront hotel behind the palapa roof of the waterfront restaurant. The building behind the pool is that German pension. Great pictures.

ok guys in post # 11 the phots show sosua bay hotel. What is the name of the blue hotel to the left of it in that picture?

then in post #30 shows a great shot of the P-G hotel which is all the white buildings. What is the name of the hotel to the left of the P-G in that photo. It is mostly red. and seems to have a vacant pool with no people, heck it doesnt even have chairs!

and while we are here....which is a classier -better hotel the Casa Marina Reef Hotel or the Sosua bay Hotel

The blue hotel is part of the Sosua Bay hotel complex. It used to be called Coralillo. To it's left, is also part of the complex, and used to be the old Marco Polo club/hotel.
The building you see next to PG, is a condo complex built by Juan Perdomo a few years back, and to it's left, there used to be 2 houses that have been torn down, to make way for another condo complex being built by the Cabarete Remax group & investors.
Sosua Bay Hotel would be considered by most to be a lot classier than Casa Marina.
The food and the decor at Sosua Bay are far superior.

BOB, when you past by playa dorada on helicopter, I mean a sharp low flyby that scared the people below. I was there. My friends were playing the volleyball on the sand. Your helicopter pilot is a nut. That stunt was scary enough to make the passenger puke.

well we were the passengers and we werent about to puke, so i dont know what you are talking about.
Secondly the helicopter landing pad is only 100 yards or so from the beach. I bet he makes that flight over the beach 5 or 6 times a day, himself, and there are two helicopters that land there!. I saw people waving to the helicopter when we passed over .

what time of the day and what day was it that you saw the helicopter fly over you?

I actually saw a gringo taking pictures so I thought it was you. Anyway, it was a saturday or friday, not sure, in the afternoon. The helicopter makes a few decent fly by's over the playa then he made a very low fast flyby to scare off the people below. That was a close call. I saw a guy who fits your description who was talking pictures. Oh, well, maybe all of you tourists look alike. Hahahaha, me make joke.
