Casa Colonial - Playa Dorado
Just did a very quick stay at Casa Colonial - Anyone have any comments ?.
I found the rooms very low, kinda claustrophobic. I am not a tall person and to be able to touch the ceiling in the large bathroom was,, well,,? also still have a hard time seeing the maids cleaning the overly large bathtubs as one has to step into them to turn on the faucets, again, being not a tall person my arms are not that long so maybe it's just me. For a quoted 422 us $ per night I would think that you would have more on your room terrace than just two wooden chairs and a small table badlly in need of oil, a plant or two would have been nice. Also at that price I would like to see somthing other than plastic garbage cans at every turn. The spa was very well done but on the very high pricey side, (we are not in New York, Paris or Aspen), the restaurants I hope will take a turn for the better and now I will finnish on a good note,, The staff was fantastic !!, a-bit without direction but bending over backwards to make you comfortable. Voila !!
