Caribe Club Princess
I just recently returned from a weeklong stay at the beautiful Caribe club princess resort and spa. This was the best vacation i have ever been on. I've done a lot of traveling and this was the first time i was able to relax, have fun and just be myself. the only activity i was planning on doing was laying on the beach and reading the seven books i brought along, however, the animation staff was very persuasive about participating in all the activities they had going on throughout the day, that i only got through two books.
the whole animation staff/activities reminded me so much of summer camp. but it was nice to have a variety of things to choose from and be able to interact with people from different cultures. i think my favorite activity was the water aerobics. one day, two guys dressed in drag (complete with water balloon breasts) were the instructors for the water aerobics...i was laughing so much that i wasn't following along very well and kept getting splashed by them.
i also enjoyed learning the merengue and some other dances....they give you so many opportunities to dance that if you don't know how to at least do the merengue, then it's your loss.
my friends and i did get to hang out with some of the animation staff...not sure if any of them qualify as sankies, but they were fun to dance and hang out with and provided me with endless answers to the millions of questions i had about their culture, language, and jobs.
i really don't have any complaints about the trip. my fellow travelers and i were treated well and never received any negativity from the staff. i would highly recommend visiting this resort!
would love to hear from others who've visited there.

sankie or vampire ?
between being at work for 12 hours a day, and all the extra ciricular activities that a sankie performs when do they have time to sleep...or is sankie a code name for vampire ? well, maybe it is cause they do seem to suck the life blood out of all their victims......maybe thats why all the women that go to the DR come back in a daze and arent sure what really has happened to them....kinda like being under a spell.

Listen, you just wrote a nice report on your stay at a Dominican resort. If you did not have a "hidden agenda" for writing it(meaning that you started it with other intentions, like to ask about the animation team), leave it AS IS and then start a new thread about the animation team, if you want.
I say that because the moment that you start to ask questions about the resort's animation staff, your report/thread, NICE OR NOT, WIIIIIIIILL GO DOWNHILL.
Trust me.

A six day work week is typical in the DR, so 12 on and 3 off would not be unusual.
