Sorry everyone for the deviation in my last post.

Getting back to the OP. In the ninth paragraph, the night before they checked out, she mentions her husbands leg bothering him and in the twelfth paragraph, after going to the doctor, it was determined that he had a skin infection so that should clear up the question that some of you may have as to what was wrong with his foot and leg.

In the eighth paragraph she mentions the glass door getting broken and in the tenth paragraph she says, "my husband flung the door open and the handle hit the wall causing the glass to shatter."

That is in fact an admission of quilt and with the use of the word 'flung' I am to assume that he was mad and exerted much more force then he wished because I honestly don't think he had the intension to break the door but then again I've been known to be wrong before.

Living here and witnessing daily how things are accomplished here the intriguing part of this fiasco is contemplating how long it will be before the door will be replaced and if it will be replaced with glass. Maybe someone that lives nearby could keep us informed.

Rick

Hehehehe.

The only reason I mentioned those tidbits was because of the prior statements, “He didn't kick the glass door by any chance?”, “When I read about your husband's problems with his foot/ankle I immediately assumed that he had kicked the door, thus breaking it”, “I have taken another look at your post and still can't quite understand how the door was broken. Please clarify”, “I am sure they broke the glass door on purpose”.

It just seemed very apparent to me in reading the OP as to what the story was and due to the clarity of the OP I just thought everyone would read those words that I read.

Oh well, we all know about that word assume and I guess I shouldn't have gone there. Soooooooooorry..........

Look, This smelled from the get go!

Most reviews re this place @ Debbies Dominican were positive that I read.

My opinion is that you should have takin' your Harley Davidson wannabe

ass*s to Daytona instead of the DR seeking your Jack Daniels whiskey, while

you collectively smoke enough in six months to, no doubt, pay for the glass

he deliberately smashed.

Glad I wasn't there while you both were.

Quit smoking, live longer, pay for more temper mistakes!!

You are nauseating!

Stated my thoughts.
Steve

Once you brought this up, I went back and re-read the OP. I think I'm going to have to agree with you, as brutal as your post seems. There were some extremely petty things being complained about. "We waited for 1/2 an hour for ashtrays???" Your legs painted on?

A vacation is what you make of it, and if you spend all your time looking for faults, you'll end up like the OP. I just got back from the D.R. last week, and although all kinds of bizzare things happened, I will look back at the trip fondly. It's a matter of perspective I guess.
