Default Just GOT BACK

Hi ALL, Just got back from Boca Chica and Santo Domingo. Found great hotel in Gazcue (Hotel Mystic) Near Malecon. Security was around the clock with real police officers working security part time and Rooms were very clean. At Boca Chica found a great Italian Hotel(El Castillo Italiano) and restaurant which was also very clean, security around the clock and the food was just great. I stayed for 8 Days and will be going back in August. The chica's were just beautiful and very friendly. If need more info let me know

Yes, I agree - Nice quick report. How long did you stay? - What were the rates of the hotels. Where did you eat? - What did you do/see?

We all want to know. Sharing is Caring

wow...for 77 a night i hope a chica was included!

There is a new hotel at the end of the malecon..right across from parque indepencia. it is brand spanking new...very nice...the rooms were small but impecable and there were some great terraces that you could hang out on. I believe they were charging 45 a night or in that range.

THe name of the place escapes me...if you come out of the malecon and are facing look left and you cant miss it.

I didnt stay there as i had aready checked into another place...but i would definitely stay there on a future visit. (oh..and i asked...and yes they are guest friendly).

the only drawback to the cheaper rooms is that there was no balcony. I am a smoker and i prefer to smoke outside (especialy when the room is small).

Yup...Discovery is the place. I have to say i was VERY impressed with the place...the professionalism of the front desk...and at a great price (there are more pricey rooms with more amenities etc)...but the 46 dollar room would be fine for a short stay. THere is even a small pool on the roof deck. I definitely plan on staying there for a night or two on my next trip.

anyhoo...i am not giving it a full endorsement as i have not actualy stayed there. but i looked at the rooms and got a nice tour...and it looked really nice.
