I would think that one would seek the help of a doctor when an injury occurs not an attorney. Seems like a doctor would be better to handle a "crisis situation" than an attorney. The fact that you sought out an attorney immediately is an indication that your intent was less than honorable.
You are aware that there is such a thing as "travel insurance". I doubt you had this, probably too cheap to consider paying for something you thought you could get for free. I doubt the folks in the RD are going to miss you much. You may want to contact Coca cola and tell them you found a cockroach in your bottled drink.

Whats funny is that he went to DR 6 times and ONCE he got injured. The hotel paid for the medical expenses and he is back home alive and well.

Is funny how people only remember that bad stuff. He forgot what made him go back the other 5 times...

Wink dominicans very helpful
i had an attack of kidney stones when in punta cana last year and found everyone very helpful. i actually came out cheaper in the DR than i would have in the states! i realize all hospitals in the country are not equal and this one being near a major tourism spot may be above others in the country but overall i was very pleased

Yes, find another island to go and try giving them a hard time and you will see!!

Better just stay home or come to California where you can file a lawsuit for just about anything. This doesn't guarantees a settlement on your favor but you can at least try!
