Chiri--REALLY well done report on your experience and some truly outstanding photos. Thanks for both!!

One question...several people have told me that sea sickness is an issue, especially for those not in first class (I gather the fumes are different as well as the boat swaying). Can you comment on this? One of my friends has a knack for taking the PR ferry right as storms (such as Noel and Olga) are hitting.

Chiri, very informative and detailed trip report. I would like to know if the prices are still the same, considering the fuel prices have sky rocketed. I would like to take this trip. I would like to know if I take my car, what type of insurance and paperwork would I need?
