Default We're Addicted!

My friend and I booked a trip to Cabarete for January 22-29, 2008. We booked at an all inclusive resort. Not entirely sure of what to expect we went with open minds!

What a trip! We are totally addicted and we have already booked our next trip for april 8th! lol

We went on the outback safari tour and we loved that tour! It was so great to see the locals that dont live in the city. we learned so much from that tour.

We practiced our spanish and we felt so safe wandering around all the time. We barely spent any time at the resort. It was really a waste of money for us. We spent all that money to have a hotel room to store our luggage!

We met some locals and they showed us the REAL Dominican Republic! It was great! We learned how to Salsa, Cha cha and merengue! We're still not sure what the one dance we learned was called but we call it the 3 step! Coming from Alberta we know how to 2 step and now we know how to 3 step!

As a photographer, I was in my glory! I was able to take over 1000 photos while we were there! It was a photographers dream! I can't wait to go back to take more!

The beaches were amazing and the local food was to die for...compared to the bland food that the resort was serving!

We have tickets booked for April 8th and we are going all inclusive again in November with the kids!

Glad you enjoyed yourself.

that dance was probably bachata our second national dance.

There's tons of bachata musicians, Frank Reyes, Yoskar Sarante, Anthony Santos, Hector Acosta, Aventura, just to name a few.

Enjoy your next trip back.
