Nice eye candy David. Thank you.
For the North coast most of the amazing scenery is way off the beaten path in the campo. There are sites and wonders here that many foriegners have no clue of, just out side of downtown PoP. Cliffs, caves, waterfalls, natural springs and the like can be found.
There are also many Dominican built edifices, way in the woods that are very impressive and virtually unknown, except by those men and women who work and live on the land.
Next time here, take a venture in the mountains.
Oh, and don't forget your camera

serious road trip there borec. photos are incredible. I want to see punta rucia and monte cristi soon myself. i have met a lot of people from there. waiting on more birding photos from you. that hispaniolan woodpecker was cool, i have one drilling on the side of my house all day long

Nice shooting David. I have found that it is way too easy to make an amazing landscape look boring with a camera. Apparently not a problem we share.
