Recent visit to Juan Dolio

Hi all

Just back from another adventure in Juan Dolio. Had a terrific time as usual. My visit this time was made even better by getting to meet with some fellow DR1 members. I met up with MommC, DrChrishe and JRR, all wonderful people and full of wisdom and information. I would have met more people like Matilda if time had permitted (sorry Matilda) but couldn't be done. You know how time flies when you're having fun. Next time!!
Had a REAL dominican day on one Friday. I had my Canadian cell phone and digital camera stolen. Oh well, all replacable except the pictures (boo hoo).
Went for dinner at Aura in JD on my last night because of MommC and DrChris's recommendation. It was amazing. Everyone should try this place at least once---a little pricey---but worth it.
Can't wait to return.

hey i would love to go to aura again one day soon but i heard they ask 1.000 peso for entrance... is that true????

or just allowed entrance as long as you consume there...
