You say it's not for everyone and that means that the polluted water is okay for some people??????? When the Dominican goverment warns about getting genital disease from swimming in that water then it is time to stop swimming there and saying that it is not for everybody is irresponsible.

There are many here acting like Ostriches with their heads in the sand!

Since Playa Boca Chica and Playa Andres are side by side if one is polluted, and that is well documented, then the other is too.

Just like the poor souls in Costambar denying that their water quality is questionable. If you walk or drive along the Malecon in Puerto Plata you can smell the horrible stench coming from the water as you approach the container port from the east. There's no denying that the water is polluted as not only can you smell it, and you can't miss the foul odour, you can see it as well much of the time.

Then if you care to notice the current you'll quickly see that it is travelling towards Costambar so it should be no surprise really that the water there is not exactly pure and pollution free!

Concerning the "disfigured" people, folks, make sure they are actually disfigured.

Since images will explain this better than words, take a look at this video.

Sure, he has a handicap.... its called LAZINESS.

YouTube - Invalido de la Lincoln

The solution to all of this is simple, don't give money to beggars. Sooner or later they will get the hint.
