Pizza House on El Conde Unruly/Smells
Pizza House (the worst pizza...it really wreaks in there like puke or rotting cheese, and the pizza is actually sweet-tasting and terrible) had all you can eat for RD100 on Friday, which generated a huge crowd of high schoolers, all day, but especially at night, with some unruly. They mostly had the roll-down metal doors down and locked because of overcapacity, but at night the snaking lines that started at the locked rolldown doors turned into general dense crowds and on/off mayhem, and at some point some punks started to run up and smash themselves/feet into the metal doors and propel off (like running up a wall style), seemingly out of frustration that they had to wait so long....the bodies bouncing off the roll up doors made loud sounds, which scared the crowd...which dispersed somewhat and started screaming, and the politur came right over. if you recall pizza house is only about 20 meters in from the the start of el conde at independencia, and that beat up politur police crown vic is usually there. i would have thrown those kids right in jail. but they stopped when the police came over. kids are so stupid, probably trying to impress their friends. There is a far superior pizza place down toward the water a couple blocks (or maybe even just 1 block) for all you can east all the time for RD$248, which I think is kind of Cici's style, for those familiar with Puerto Rico, from whence Cici's emanates, or now Florida, USA to which Cici's has now expanded. -delaRenta.

CiCi's is all over US now. If you are talking about the pizza place that looks like a tunnel, yeah the pizza there is horrible, its like the pizza that is served in america at 7 eleven.

The new "all you can eat" pizza place on El Conde was giving out samples this past weekend. It's called Pizza Buffet. The pizza was pretty tasty but seemed kind of like Totina's frozen pizza from the US. I may check it out sometime, but for 248 pesos per person you can get a pretty decent meal at any of the chain pizza places mentioned above...unless you're REALLY hungry!

I agree, Pizza House pizza is disgusting. It's... I'm hammered drunk and need to eat food
Dominicans like it because it has a sweet sauce, almost like ketchup.

They sure do love things sweet. It's of course no wonder that so many Dominicans are obese with their love of empty calories (sugar-sweetened juices) and salt (everything seasoned, whether you like it or not), and of course fried "everything." I'm curious though...I've been coming to the DR for many years, and some Germans who own a RD$10mm house they bought 5 years ago decided to sell, because they said the people are fatter than they used to be a few years ago, and they can't enjoy looking at them anymore. I hadn't noticed that myself. Has anyone had the same observation?

This has nothing to do with Pizaa House topic, plus it's a ridiculous.
Saying that, maybe the perfect time to close this.
