Majestic Colonial stay anyone?

We are going August 12-16 for a wedding. Any tips, advice, or stories.
We have never been to Punta Cana.

I've stayed twice at Majestic Colonial and will be at Majestic Elegance for two weeks starting on April 18.

What would you like to know?

Do all the rooms have pool view?
If not, then where is the best standard suite?
How's the night life?
Kids entertainment? (obviously not at night?

Building 1 faces the Grand Paradise Bavaro Resort next door.
Building 2 faces the pool with gardens beyond that.
Building 3 faces gardens with the pool beyond that
Building 4 faces the Majestic elegance Resort next door.

IMHO either buildings 2 or 3 offer the best location for standard rooms. They are available on floors 2 and 3 in building 2 and 1, 2 and 3 in building 3.

There is an on-site casino and disco which is shared with Majestic Elegance. In addition in the evenings there is entertainment in the lobby and/or on the patio near the lower lobby bar. Also there are entertainment shows which are available nightly.

Two kids clubs for different age groups, an evening movie showing and a stage show by the kids before the main show
