HOTEL Reviews - Help Us out!
We need a little help in testing out our NEW review section at dr1travel.
If you have recently stayed in the DR and would like to write a review for us of the hotel you stayed at, we would be forever grateful.
The review section of dr1travel is brand new and allows you to not only write a review, but also rate the hotel and add photos.
We think the photo option will become a great resource for future travelers , as it will give a true pictorial of the hotel, good and bad.

Robert I realize that this is an extremely generous offer but as I am currently unemployed,I would l be more than willing, to hire out to
DR1 for only expenses, will supply my own transportation, and travel anywhere on the Eastern part of the Island(not Haiti). This should only require a couple of months, maybe 3. When I finish will have up to-date prices pictures and reviews from Punta Cana to Dajabon and Pedernales. satisfaction guaranteed!

But how many are willing to supply their own transportation? Waiting to be contacted, other wise will bug the hell out you. Oh will spring for the beer at the gift shop across from California on El Condi (will bribes help here they do elsewhere in the country),

I tried to write a review but the page keeps saying there is an error on it and is not taking my posted review. Robert, is there a problem on the page? or am i doing something wrong?

There is a review I would like to contribute but I am not seeing the hotel listed. I would have thought the owner would have been an advertiser because every (unsolicited and unreturned) e-mail I get from him brags about how well his hotel and Real Estate business is doing (even in this market, during low season...he is really good), and how much money he is making, so I would have thought he would have a few bucks for advertising, but he must have some other secret formula.
Which leads me to something for the suggestion box. I know revenue is kind of slow all over the industry right now, which dictates creative out-of-the-box thinking. With that in mind, I would suggest a new "don't go there" advertisement product. The product would clearly state anything on this thread is a paid non-advertisement and may not be factually accurate, but for those willing to pay (and pay for a rebuttal) you can post whatever you want.
In fact, don't restrict it to hotel reviews. Make it so you can post whatever you want (within reason), as long as you are willing to pay for it. Kind-of like FOX news.
I would be willing to pay for a few months of non-advertisement of a hotel I have some personal experience with, and I suspect the hotel owner would be willing to pony up some of his vast wealth to post his brilliant racist writing (he is consumed with writing about how disappointed he is the US has a black president, and tonight he was posting some garbage about how "Colored Folks" should be proud that he was giving them credit for inventing some instrument or something...I didn't quite get it, on one of the other DR sites) to a larger audience than he gets with his current outlet.
Just a thought.
