Sake pase,

Just go to Caribe Tour in Petionville...They will take care of you if you just need a tourist visa...très facil....prices went up for haitian nationals I have no idea how much it is for a filipino national...bonne chance....



Hey, what happen to that poor filipino worker that was kidnapped last month or so...poor guy..they thought he was the owner....

BTW, alot of filipinos well alot of asian immigrants have been living in haiti since the last 2 decades..


That chinese restaurant is still thriving in Petionville...forgot the name? Damn, quiero regresar a mi querido pais....

rick,

being a haitian national that goes the legal route will have no problem...tourist visa will be handed to you the next day...

You are a Filipino, and Filipinos require a visa, ergo, you need a visa. Working in Haiti doesn't eliminate your nationality nor does it make you Haitian and being Haitian is no great advantage in trying to get to the DR anyway.

i will check that.

for the filipino worker, they family gaev 3000US as ransom for the guy

the chinese restaurant was transfer in delmas 85 and they got another new restaurant buffet style in rue frere. 20US per head.

Except in the other thread, same person posting they are not a Haitian national, just working there and were declined as Filipinos already for visas to the DR. So the DR seems to not be willing to grant the visas, and just working in Haiti is not changing their status. If Haitians can come easily then they seem to have a leg up on Filipinos.
