Talking opening a checking acct.

i'm new to DR and was wondering if anyone knows what the requirements are for openning up an account at a local bank. thanks

It may vary from bank to bank, but usually it would require your passport or cedula and a certain minimum amount of money.

Some of the banks also want a letter of introduction from your home bank indicating your solvency.
