Best of luck to you and your fiance. If you are a loyal employee I hope they understand. If I were in your situation I would rather have my fiance than a job.

You MUST go. For me, no job is worth my spouse, especially a retail job. They are a dime a dozen this time of year. You could try taking leave under the FMLA since this is a major family event. I think they are gonna have a hard time telling you after two years that you can't go. Any company that doesn't have some compassion for that kind of situation is not a company I want to work for anyway.
