Default visa for Belgium

Hi,

i am looking for someone (best from belgium ) who can give me some info about the visa for a dominican guy.
I dont want to marry right now but i want him coming in belgium to live with me. So any advice will be welcome. Which kind of visa is the best?
I have already read all info on the governement site and about the different visa. But i can not receive exact info from the embassy.

Thanks a lot

I would suggest calling them and ask what kind of visa he requires or call your own government and ask what the requirements are.

That being said, he can't just come live with you without going through an immigration process. He might be able to get a visitor visa for 90 days. I don't know how strict your country is about issuing visitor visas.

Good luck

Default Schengen visa country

Since Belgium is part of the EU, Schengen Visa rules apply.

To nitpick, not quite; the EU and Schengen area are not the same. Belgium is part of Schengen though.

Melanie, if you're from Vlaanderen, this forum has quite a few Belgian members that might be able to advise: Dominicaanse Republiek Forum :: Index
