I found this online if anyone is interested. I'm pretty sure these are the steps taken when reviewing applications for PR.

Acknowledgement of Receipt
Preliminary Review( paper screening)
Interview Requriement
Application Decision
Medcial Clearance
Security Clearance
Visa Issuance

When you go under Canadian immigration process(top of page) go under Family Class and it tells you in detail how each step is done. I hope this is right!!

So this means we shoudl be pretty close with our applcations. My status online however still says unavailable
