Default Haiti apologizes

I received an email from my MP's office today stating that Haiti had made a mistake surprise surprise, and my husbands medical is only good for one year just like we all said, so to make things better they extended his medical until May 24th, this is their way of saying sorry. So MP sends an email back saying if it is extended until May 24th does that mean they are close to finalizing his application, the MP has not heard back. So I am hoping they respond that they are almost done adn we don't need another medical. If they say they are not close then I will go ahead and send my husband for yet another medical before they send the papers to him, I am tired of waiting.

Like I said before I don't know who they have working in Haiti, but who ever it is really has no idea what they are doing. Even I knew the medical is only good for one year, who are these people trying to kid..... It clearly states it in the application package. All of us here on DR1 could do a better job. When my husbands medical was expiring I also tried to get them to extend his medical to aviod redoing another one, but on one would anwser any of my e-mails.. And low and behold guess what two weeks after it expired they requested a new one.. Was'nt that cute....So I'll I can say is we are at their beckon call and have to do whatever they ask. They say jump and we say how high...

A little update....last Friday after my husband sent the requested documents I had him send a message via the case specific inquiry on the Haiti website. He said that he sent the documents, listed the UPS waybill number, said when the docs. were received at the embassy and who signed for them. I also had him upload a copy of the UPS website showing the tracking number and who signed for it.

He received an email response today from Haiti (I was shocked to say the least). It just acknowledged that they received the documents...literally

2008/5/16 <re-port-au-prince-im-renseignements@international.gc.ca>:

Dear Sir,
We wish to acknowledge receipt of your documents.
Regards,
PRNCE (Immigration)

But at least I know they got them

here is the link

Start there and follow the instructions. The site will let you upload a document.

Has the package your wife sent arrived??
