Jalbert - It is completely different for applying as a skilled worker as opposed to sponsoring a spouse or family member.

Told you so Mart. I knew it was coming.

Ok now your husband has to leave his passport in Santo Domingo they will send it to Hait and then back to SDO and call your husband. In my case this took about 10 days.

Wow. You are lucky. My husband and i just got married in April. I sent all the documents to Canada Immigration in May. How long did it take you? 2 Years????

Why the Canadian Embassy in Santo Domingo has to send your husband passport to Haiti?

They can't issue the visa in Santo Domingo?
