Follow the instructions on your application, to the letter.
Otherwise, you'll have to do it again.
If you don't have the application, get one.

This is for Immigration Canada right? They have been a real pain lately so those that are going through it at this time can give you a better idea.

I sent a copy of your question to this thread .

It looks like I jumped the gun, please disregard my post as I know nothing about Canadian residency process - my utmost apologies.

Did the form for photo requirements change?

My form does not ask that the names be written on the back - I got this form last year. I didn't do anything that wasn't in the instructions. I put the photos in an envelope (so they wouldn't scatter in the letter pack) and wrote on the outside of the envelope that they contained the number of photos and paper clipped that to other documents.

The answer to the question about what to write on the photos is in Part B of the guide to sponsoring a spouse outside of Canada.- Found under completing the application forms.

It states on ONE photo of the set you write the name, date of birth of the person and the date the photo was taken.

Hope this helps.

Default what type

The photo's of my husband (8) of them I put in a small envelope with his name and birth date on them. I did not write on the back of them. I attached them to the application with a paperclip.

All other photos I send in were in a photo pages and I did nto write on any of them either.
