Coco dear your husband hasn't even had an interview yet. Some people don't even have an interview and some do and this is this first time we've read on DR1 that a few people had to come up with more proof of whatever it was that Haiti wanted. Could be something differnet for each of those couples. Stay calm and wait for the interview. I know it's easier said than done

yeah i know but if they wanted proofs that i can do right now cause im with my husband, i will do it. it will be to late when i will be back to canada. You understand? I know that a person who got the 3 months said that the agent told her husband that they needed more proofs from her husband not hers. Well, the agent, at the phone, told me exactly the same thing that why i want to prepare us.

If you gave them everything required on the application, it will be more of the same, more pictures, more proof of relationship, school records...etc. They asked my wife(dominicana) for proof of my first wife's death. You may not get asked for anything or you may be asked for something you've already given them; you won't know until the time comes.

the agent told me that wasnt the type of proofs that we sent with the application??? So, i dont know what she want...

coco it will depend how your husband answers the questions.

if they dont believe something or want more info about something ie. school records, baptismal certificate, proof of employment, title on a house etc. they will ask for it at the end of the interview and/or send you a written request for it.

it is personal to your situation. no one can know what they might want until they ask for it...it might be something silly or something you already submitted the first time or something that never crossed your mind to include.

you cant worry until the time comes because they might not want anything at all.

they will either approve you on the spot, deny you on the spot or give you 90 days to provide additional things and then make their decision.
