Hello there off topic here its just that im new at this and i dont know how to open a thread newayz,

My long term partner and i planned to move to Dubai, visas for dubai already are obtained. Its just that we need to transit through the UK to get there. Do dominicans need transit visas, if ur changing ur airline company or airport in the UK to go to the final destination (Dubai).

I've moved both your posts here thinking that you are leaving from the Dominican Republic but now I'm confused. What country are you and your partner leaving from?

Hello There...Dominican Nationals dont need a Visa to Transit in Brazil aslong as they are Not Leaving the Airport and are leaving within 24hours

The Easiest and most direct route though would be via Paris with AirFrance from either Santo Domingo or Punta Cana
but dominican nationals do need a Transit Visa for France unless they hold a Valid European,US,Canadian Visa or Residence Permit.
For The French Transit Visa the Dominican will Need

1 application form and photo. All forms must be completely and legibly filled out in black or blue ink, signed and dated. All photos must be recent, identical, passport size - 2" x 2" (4,5cm x 4,5cm) and showing face front the forehead hairline and ears on a white background.

Passport or travel document (+ 1 copy of identity page) valid for at least three months following the last day of your transit through France. Be sure the passport has blank "visa" pages left to affix the visa.

Detailed reservation and itinerary. (+ 1 copy)
Confirmed dates or E-ticket at the time of issuance of the visa. No open tickets accepted.

Also Depending on when Youre Traveling British airways can get you their Via London departing from Punta Cana and a Transit Visa is not requiered if Leaving the UK within 24 hours and its just in Transit

Getting to Dubai Via Brazil Might be more costly and time consuming since there are No direct flights from DR to Brazil..meaning you would need to make atleast one change of Planes somewhere
Currently to Get to Sao Paolo where Im assuming Your flight to Dubai would depart
You can fly
Copa Airlines Via Panana from Santo Domingo,Santiago,Punta Cana
Taca Airlines Via Costa Rica or Lima from Santo Somingo
Lan Airlines Via Lima or Buenos aires or Santiago de Chile

Hope it helps..if you have any more questions just ask
Best of Luck

Hi - I am currently in Dubai. Emirates has service between Sao Paulo non-stop to Dubai - I think its daily. 14.5 hour non stop flight. If you can get to Sao Paulo via Panama or another connection point then the Emirates flight would be ideal for you.

Keep In Mind that the Cubana Airlines Santo Domingo to Havana Flight only Goes twice a week so if anything happens and your flight is cancelled or delayed that can cause lots of trouble with Your Virgin Atlantic connection

FYI British Aiways will fly from Punta Cana to London starting Oct 25 and you can connext with them to Dubai

Best of Luck!
