Yes. My girlfriend called the Peruvian embassy a month ago. Dominicans now need a visa to travel to Peru. Someone should remove Peru from the list!

    Scratch Chile off that list.

Is this for yourself or a Dominican? You are an American right?

I stated this somewhere before, but will again. The only country you cannot get a connecting flight without a Visa that I know of is the US. Panama is no problem as you asked, and I really don't believe any other country is except US.

Thanks for pointing out that Chile now requires a visa.
I was planning to take someone on their first-ever trip out of the country there. I thought it'd be an ideal destination: people speak Spanish and some Spanish-speaking black people there, which suggested racism was less of a problem. But, then I found that they tightened the visa requirement only a year or two ago.

I keep seeing references to "human trafficking" when I read about tightened visa requirements for Dominicans. Not sure if it refers to prostitution slavery or something else.

Xavier gave you a right approach about the black population in southern Southamerica.
If you wish to find black people you can go to Brazil. Some of them speak Spanish (specially at the south of the country). Anyway, Portuguese is not that difficult to understand.
I was in Brazil (my family is from Puerto Rico and I live in Spain) and I didn´t have any trouble with language. Esta página también ofrece para todos sus usuarios su version de Casino en español
