As reported by Juanita, it poured all afternoon yesterday, something that hadn't happened in about six months in Santo Domingo.
Today, it's sunny with scattered clouds, although the weather people are forecasting showers.

Bring on the Sancocho!
I don’t see Dolores around so I’ll just write a quick note! We’re having a very GREY morning, dark clouds and lots of rain! Looking at the noaa satellite image; their is a humongous cloud over our heads. It’s a perfect day for Sancocho!

Saturday was a drizzle to rain day. Sunday is somewhat better, with only a bit of drizzle this morning. In the afternoon seems to be dry all around. Noontime high of 28C (82F) and morning low of 24C (75F).

It poured all through the early morning (probably from about 4 am), while clearing up around 7 am.
That was after a tornado-like wind and rain storm that surprised everyone last night.
This morning there are some patches of blue in the sky, but mostly overcast, cloudy. Temperature is a pleasant 26C.

Yesterday was quite a good day, with no rain all day after that early morning shower.
Again there was an early morning downpour (about 4-6 am) and then the morning cleared. In Santo Domingo today there are more patches of blue in the sky than yesterday.
The Weather people are forecasting the rains to continue.

Rained around 9:30 am - 10:30 am, but the rest of the day has been dry here in Santo Domingo. May I say that Robert is feeling quite at home with these days of British weather. One of those days when its very humid (not hot), actually around 26C, and looks like it could rain any moment.

What started off as an overcast day, has gradually changed for a sky with patches of blue and scattered clouds. There is a slight breeze, making it quite a nice day. But, weather forecasters tells us that we should expect rains all throughout the weekend.

Last night it rained around 9 pm for a short while. Then today, all day, has been as sunny as a day can be. Actually hot, with the temperature rising to 30C. Normal hot and humid summerish day. So far so good as of 4 pm. Blue skies all around.
The weather people, though are still forecasting rains.

On Friday evening it rained for about half an hour around 8 pm. Today, it has been a sunny hot day. It is breezy, these are the probably the breezes brought by Adrian as it makes its way through the Caribbean. Otherwise, it is a beautiful day. Of course, we can expect some more rain in the evening.
