Here in Santo Domingo we have been suffering through what seem excruciatingly hot days. Temperatures above 32C, including 30C temperatures in the evening. Air conditioning units having a hard time.

After almost two complete weeks of sweltering heat, yesterday we finally had a short rain shower in Santo Domingo, and we could see another one today.
The rains are welcome for cooling off these hot days and of course for the city vegetation.
Temperature still is very hot, hovering over 30C.

After several weeks of sticky weather, with an occasional shower, the weather in Santo Domingo has improved, at least for us who live here meaning... it is less hot. Noontime temperature of 29C (84F), much better than 34C (93F). Scattered clouds, blue skies. Last night temperatures dropped to a pleasant 21C (69F).

After being away for about a month, am back to do the reports.
Was greeted by good weather here in Santo Domingo. Blue skies, light breezes and noontime temperature of 29C (84F).
So far so good.

This is what I love about end of the year weather. Mid morning temperature of 27C-80F (gradually warming up into mid day), plus a light breeze. Sunny skies, partly cloudy.

Weather continues to be great in Santo Domingo. Not too hot in the day (28C at noontime) and pleasant evening temperatures, too, lows at around 21C at dawn, but evening chill about 26C.
