Short rain showers yesterday afternoon, but as of 3:30 pm today, only sun. Last night was especially cool, with temperature of 22C in the evening. Was with friends from Washington, D.C. that told me that it was cooler here than in Washington.

Lovely sunny morning with a light breeze and wonderful 25C (77F) temperature in Santo Domingo at 11 am. With the windows open, it is like having the air conditioner on at a perfect temperature.

Apologize for not posting updates on the weather these days. For the past two months, weather in Santo Domingo has been uneventful. Sunny days, more of a spell of drought. Hardly no rain. This week we have had one or two welcome rainshowers. Today at 9:40 am it is cloudy and humid, could rain. Temperature at 26C (79F). This has been a particularly warm winter in the DR, with very few days of the chilly weather in the (low 20C) 70sF we who live here love.
Those traveling to Santo Domingo should bring summer clothes, plus a light jacket or sweater (more for air conditioning than the weather).

After days and days of sunshine, today it is raining in Santo Domingo. Could be a short rain shower, but the skies of cloudy. Temperatures have been pleasant, at 26C at noontime.

Looks like we are in for a few days of rain. The Weather Department announced three days of rain, so probably by the weekend the sun will be shining fully again.
It rained this morning, but at mid morning it is muggy, cloudy, but not raining. Temperature of 27C (80F).
