Weather department is forecasting rains for today and tomorrow nationwide. Today the incredible heat of yesterday is no longer with us and it is very cloudy. Looks like it will rain sometime in the afternoon, or evening.

The Weather Department had forecast it would rain on election day (16 May) but didn't happen. All throughout the weekend, it was blazing sun, at least in Santo Domingo's vicinity. Today, it is cloudy out there, a light breeze, but the high temperatures are headed this way. Temperature of 29C (84F) at noon today. Less hot today than on Sunday, when it was blazing heat all day.

Yesterday there were two short showers -- before 8am, and at around 9pm. The rest of the day it was partly cloudy, and hot. But it cools off in the early morning, so no complaints.
Today, at 10:40am, temperature is at 28C (82F) and skies in Santo Domingo are more cloudy than sunny.

Been raining since yesterday. Drizzling now. Weather people have forecast rains into the weekend. The less hot temperature, though, is welcome. At 3pm, it's 26.8C (80F).

While yesterday morning the sun was shining brightly, shortly after noon we were having cloudy skies that did evolve into lots of rain later in the day and quite constantly over the early morning of Wednesday and all throughout the day today.
We are enjoying the coolish 26.2C (79F) temperature, and the skies are overcast, so we are expecting more rains. The forecast is for more rains due to a tropical wave in the area.

The Wednesday afternoon weather report from the Punta Cana radar points to more rain due to the tropical wave in the area. And for the rains to continue over the weekend.

We've been having very hot weather for the past week. Now with the Weather Department forecasting a tropical depression is in our area, we are suffering through the humidity. Cloudy today, but no rain yet at 3:30 pm.

Not much change in the weather these days. Some short showers, but mostly sunny.
Summer is making its way in, with lots of hot temperatures.
