Don't know if it was you or Mother Nature, but the Punta Cana area has finally been receiving much needed rain. The grass is green again and the change in temperature (going down finally) can already be felt. I'll let you know when we start drowning...lol

It is now 6:41 am. We have Sun and a moderate cover of scattered clouds. The wind is calm. The temperature is 75°F / 24°C. Today we can expect an improvement in the weather; Sun, variable cloudiness, high humidity, and a chance of scattered showers. The daily high will be about 87°F / 31°C. The winds will be out of the ESE at 14 mph / 22 km/h. This evening expect mostly cloudy conditions with a chance of showers. The winds will be from the ESE at 6 mph / 10 km/h. The greater part of yesterday was overcast and humid. We had Sun and scattered clouds in the early morning. The late morning into the remainder of the day was overcast. The early afternoon brought some heavy shower events to the zone. The daily high temperature was 84°F / 29°C. The highest sustained winds were out of the ESE at 14 mph / 22 km/h.

It is now 6:51 am. We have Sun, high humidity, and scattered clouds. The wind is calm. The temperature is 77°F / 25°C. Today we can expect a little Sun early on then a change to mostly cloudy with the likelihood of heavy thunderstorms. The daily high will be about 85°F / 29°C. The winds will be out of the SE at 6 mph / 10 km/h. This evening expect mostly cloudy conditions with scattered thunderstorms. The winds will be from the SSW at 8 mph / 14 km/h. Last night’s low was 77°F / 25°C. Tonight’s low is anticipated to be about 77°F / 25°C.

Yesterday we had Sun, scattered clouds, and high humidity. The afternoon brought some periods of heavy clouds and showers to the west of the beach zone which remained dry. The evening recorded scattered clouds and high humidity. The daily high temperature was 86°F / 30°C. The highest sustained winds were out of the SE at 16 mph / 26 km/h.

It is now 6:30 am. The overnight was wet and humid and it is very humid and overcast now. The wind is calm. The temperature is 77°F / 25°C. Today we can expect to be overcast, cloudy with some very heavy showers and thunderstorms with a rain possibility of over 2 inches. The daily high will be about 85°F / 29°C. The winds will be out of the S at 6 mph / 10 km/h. This evening expect cloudy conditions with showers and thunderstorms. The winds will be from the W at 6 mph / 10 km/h. Last night’s low was 77°F / 25°C. Tonight’s low is anticipated to be about 77°F / 25°C.

Yesterday we had a peek of the Sun in the morning and then the rest of the day went south with overcast having periods of scattered showers and thundershowers, some of then heavy. The evening brought continuing overcast and off and on periods of showers. The daily high temperature was 86°F / 30°C. The highest sustained winds were out of the SE at 16 mph / 26 km/h.

Today we can expect overcast, high humidity, and scattered showers or thunderstorms. The daily high will be about 84°F / 29°C. The winds will be out of the SSW at 22 mph / 36 km/h. This evening we can expect more of the same overcast and showers. The winds will be from the SSW at 17 mph / 28 km/h. Last night’s low was 77°F / 25°C. Tonight’s low is anticipated to be about 77°F / 25°C.

Yesterday was rainy, cloudy, humid, and overcast. The morning we had light overcast and there were rain showers by noon. The overcast remained with us into the afternoon and evening with off and on periods of showers and light mist. The daily high temperature was 84°F / 29°C. It is now 6:49 am. We are experiencing light showers and it is overcast and very humid. The wind is calm. The temperature is 77°F / 25°C. Today we can expect periods of rain, continuing overcast, and high humidity. The daily high will be about 84°F / 29°C. The winds will be out of the SW at 11 mph / 18 km/h. This evening we can expect scattered showers, overcast, and high humidity. The winds will be from the SW at 15 mph / 25 km/h. Last night’s low was 77°F / 25°C. Tonight’s low is anticipated to be about 77°F / 25°C.

An interesting side note to this all is this band of clouds bringing us this rain extends from Central America – Venezuela, to Hispañiola, Puerto Rico, US Northeast and into Canada.

Yesterday was overcast, rainy, and very humid. There was light overcast in the am with intermittent showers. The early afternoon arrived with a dense overcast and some heavy downpours. The remainder of the day we had episodes of heavy and light rain with some drizzle mixed in to add variety. The daily high temperature was 84°F / 29°C. Today we can expect a little more taste of the yesterday’s Sun in the morning along with high humidity followed by occasional scattered showers with variable clouds this afternoon. The daily high will be about 86°F / 30°C. The winds will be out of the S at 11 mph / 18 km/h. This evening we can expect high humidity and an increase of scattered showers and thunderstorms. The winds will be from the SSW at 8 mph / 14 km/h. Last night’s low was 77°F / 25°C. Tonight’s low is anticipated to be about 77°F / 25°C.

Hopefully we see an end to this rainy pattern by early to mid week of the coming week and then we will be back to days of Sunshine.

Yesterday started with overcast, high humidity, and some scattered showers. Mid morning there was a break in the clouds and hooray we welcomed the Sun for a while. There was a return to overcast in the early afternoon with intermittent thunder and showers with the heaviest rains occurring around 3 pm. Today we can expect some glimpses of the Sun, high humidity, with scattered showers in the am and then turning to variable clouds in the pm with scattered thundershowers. The daily high will be about 88°F / 31°C. The winds will be out of the S at 11 mph / 18 km/h. This evening we can expect high humidity and a continuation of the variable clouds and scattered thundershower from the afternoon. The winds will be from the SSW at 8 mph / 14 km/h. Last night’s low was 78°F / 26°C. Tonight’s low is anticipated to be about 77°F / 25°C.

Yesterday we began the day with broken clouds and the morning progressed into the arrival of some much needed Sunshine, a clothes drying opportunity. The middle of the afternoon brought back the variable cloud cover and we experienced some showers with thunder. The early evening we had scattered clouds and sporadic light showers. The daily high temperature was 89°F / 32°C. The highest sustained winds were out of the S at 16 mph / 25 km/h.
