It is now 6:46 am. It is dawn and we have experienced a few brief showers. There are scattered clouds. The wind is out of the ESE at 6 mph / 10 km/h. The temperature is 78°F / 26°C. Today we can expect a little Sun but be prepared for the day to continue with periods of showers and thundershowers. The daily high will be about 88°F / 31°C. The winds will be out of the SSE at 26 mph / 42 km/h. This evening we can expect the showers to continue with episodes of heavy rains. The winds will be from the SE at 11 mph / 18 km/h. Last night’s low was 78°F / 26°C. Tonight’s low is anticipated to be about 78°F / 26°C.
There is a tropical wave to the south of Puerto Rico producing some heavy squalls and conditions are favorable for it to form into a tropical depression; a factor possibly affecting the local weather in the next day or two.
Yesterday was another good day. We had plenty of Sun and variable clouds through the day. The late afternoon and early evening brought us some rain clouds with the brief but heavy showers associated with them. The late evening there was thunder in the area. The daily high temperature was 89°F / 32°C. The highest sustained winds were out of the E at 16 mph / 25 km/h.
