Puerto Plata - Weather Report

Good morning. Today we have cloud cover again and I am hoping it blows off and clears up. This is Sunday and I go to Field of Dreams for breakfast and hopefully to work on my tan lines for an hour or two....

It is a touch cooler this morning as well not quite hitting 80 F. And we have a light breeze.

The weather yesterday stayed really nice for the wedding - no wet stuff fell on the bride - who looked lovely.

Hi Planner ..

Lots of sunshine (brief showers only, mainly overnight into early morning) for you the next few days. You're gonna be right under a large high pressure ridge over the Islands.

Waves on the northeast coast may build by the weekend as a large winter storm churns up in the North Atlantic off of Newfoundland Canada.

I'm glad to hear the weather for the wedding last weekend (another post from Holiday Village) worked out well.

Good morning again - Today is stunning. There is not a single cloud in sight, it is hot currently 26 C or 79F in the shade and there is almost no breeze.

I think it is a day for sunscreen and umbrella drinks.

Hi Planner, We are visiting the DR on sunday for 2 weeks and have been reading your updates daily!!! Just wanted to say that this is such a great way to get a perspective on the weather and have been raving on to all our friends about your reports!!! looking forward to two weeks of glorious sunshine (fingers crossed!!) as it is only 3C here at the moment!!!
