And right you are honey! We have bright blue skies, 82 F and now breeze at all.

I was down at the beach yesterday afternoon and I had not seen the ocean so flat and calm in a very long time. I will go look for some surf build up later on today.

Later yesterday the clouds rolled in and I really thought it would pour rain late in the evening. Nope, no wet stuff.

Have a great day!

Default Warm Air and Sunshine

Hi Planner:

Still looks quite good for you tomorrow into mid week, although there will be a higher chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms as another cold front tries to press in from Cuba (it should fall apart as it does so).

Did your higher waves from the NE materialize yet? Offshore buoys and ships were reporting wave heights of near 2 m last night into early this morning, which could make for some interesting surf if they reach the DR shore.

Cheers Kuhny

The oceans were still pretty calm as of 4 pm today.

Thanks for the update.

Good morning - again another beautiful day. Bright blue skies, 81F, a light breeze and no clouds to be seen.

Yesterday it clouded up in the evening but we got no rain.

Have a great day.

Hi Planner:

Looks like you'll have a string of aweseom, stunning days in paradise, right through next weekend, with lots of sunshine, highs in the mid to upper 80s and lows in the upper 60s to mid 70s at the coast. A huge high pressure area is anchored near the DR and should hang around for awhile. Enjoy!

Planner - you'll really love it when you realize that we may see -25 to -30 C in Srn Ontario next week on the coldest night of the year!

Ahh, Planner, the beauty of the subtropical high pressure area parked right over you! It isn't going to move much for a while so enjoy!

I'm off to work for a month in Vancouver, training to forecast for the 2010 Winter Olympics. So I will hopefully be forecasting mega-snow amounts at times, while being a 30 minute walk away from palm trees in Vancouver's Stanley Park!

If you keep on tempting me, Cath and I may just have to return sooner than forecast!
