Finally we have some blue skies again. YEahhhhhhhhhhhhhh There are some fluffy white clouds, nothing threatening, but mostly blue skies. It is 78 F and we have a light breeze.

Have a great day.

NO rain overnight. NO rain this morning. In fact I can't see a cloud in the sky. It is 84F, we have a nice breeze and I am headed to breakfast and then to lay by the pool!
Hand me the sunscreen please.....

Have a great day

Wow, 3 in a row! We have another stunning day. We have bright blue skies, no clouds in sight, a light breeze and it is 84F or 29C but it feels hotter.

Today is a holiday here, well actually it is tomorrow but the government moved the holiday to today so we can enjoy a long weekend! I intend to enjoy it.

Have a great day.

What a great way to greet May - it is 75 F or 24 C, bright blue skies and a very light breeze! We are now 4 in a row for fabulous weather.

Have a great day.

Question Long term forecast.

I know from experience websites like wunderground, cnn, and weather always predict rain for the islands. These sites are predicting 60% to 100% chance of rain for the next 10 days. What do you think the weather will actually be?

This is day 5 of our stunning weather. We have bright blue skies, no clouds and a nice breeze.

Yesterday we had a few big fluffy clouds provide some relief from the sun in the afternoon, but that was as bad as it got.

Long term forecasts: I have covered this before and will gladly repeat it. Ignore them. They are usually way off base. IF we are going to get a 10 minute shower at 7pm, it will show up as bad weather. IF they are going to get rain in Santiago - it shows rain all over the place. We get very different weather here then there.

If you are coming on vacation soon to the Puerto Plata area - the odds are you will see lots of sun but you will most likely see some rain showers late in the day. And you might get the odd overcast day with some rain. But it is vacation, enjoy it.

Have a great day.

Planner, thank you so much for your daily weather forecasts, they are a great help. I and my Wife are arriving on Monday for 14 days, and expect the weather to be changeable but warm.

Thanks again.
